Shopping for Disney Teacups and Saucers

Shopping for Disney Teacups and Saucers

Last week Aurelia was invited to her friend’s birthday party at the wonderful Tea, Cakes and Tiaras. Aurelia had an absolute blast at the tea rooms, the party was such fun! The girls drank juice and milk from fancy teacups and saucers. When we got home, Aurelia wanted to create her own afternoon tea party, but we have no teacups! Teacups are just not the sort of thing I have in the home so I set out on a quest to find some Disney teacups.

Disney Teacups

I naturally began to look for Disney teacups (we all love Disney characters in our house).

There are so many Beauty and the Beast themed teacups and tea sets, They often include a Mrs Potts teapot. Aurelia wanted her very own posh teacup!

I found for Aurelia a plastic chip cup! Now I won’t need to worry about breakages!

Amazon – £8.95

If you’re a fan of Snow White, then this is the perfect Dinsey teacup and saucer for you! This hand-decorated piece is stunning and the details are absolutely beautiful.

Look Again – £55.00

If you’re looking for a set of Disney teacup and saucers, Ceramic Inspirations stock an adorable Peter Pan collection. Each teacup features a favourite character from the movie, including Wendy and Captain Hook.

 Ceramic Inspirations – £35.00

The release of the new Mary Poppins film has undoubtedly been responsible for a rejuvenation of Mary Poppins accessories. We, however, have been life long fans of the original movie. We even visited Poppins Tea Rooms in Bolton last year. The setting of the film, Edwardian England was the heyday of afternoon tea and tea rooms!

I first came across the website Truffle Shuffle this Christmas. I bought many quirky presents for Kerri this year and so on my hunt for quirky, Disney teacups, I once again turned to their site. Their Mary Poppins teacup and saucer is adorable.

Truffle Shuffle – £19.99

EMP is another site I frequently use to buy gifts for my teenage daughter. They stock a selection of quirky and unusual gifts. Both my children love the movie ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’. They are going to love this Nightmare Before Christmas cup! It’s also extremely reasonably priced.

EMP – £12.99

Disney baddies are all the rage at the moment. I came across the Maleficient teacup and saucer that would make a perfect gift for a Maleficent fan.

Amazon – £55.00

This Sleeping Beauty Teacup and saucer would make a perfect gift for any Disney fan. This is a perfect collector’s item (I’m not sure it would be wise to leave it in Aurelia’s hands).

Freemans – £59.00

Etsy is, of course, a great place to look for anything unique. I came across Live Luv Sparkle. Their Etsy shop stocks these adorable Beauty and the Beast teacup and saucers. They are the perfect size for Aurelia’s little hands.

Etsy – £7.00

Alice in Wonderland Teacups

My eldest daughter Kerri is a huge Alice in Wonderland fan. The popularity of Alice in Wonderland tea sets and accessories is no doubt due to the iconic ‘Mad Hatter’s Tea Party’. Indeed there are so many tearooms that have opened with this name, or offer Mad Hatter afternoon teas. There are hundreds of Alice in Wonderland tea sets on the market, I thought this book/movie ought to have its own section!

This Alice in Wonderland teacup and saucer set is a fabulous idea for a birthday present!

Retro Styler – £34.95

This is the ultimate quirky Disney teacup and saucer set! This Alice in Wonderland set is so retro and would make a beautiful statement piece to any Disney teacup collection or as a centrepiece to any tea set.

For the ultimate Mad Hatters Tea party, this quirky Alice in Wonderland stacked mug would make a perfect addition to the table.

Amazon – £18.92

If you’re not quite ready to trust your little one with a porcelain cup and saucer, but they would still like to enjoy a tea party, paper alternatives are available. This Alice in Wonderland Paper cup and saucer set is an excellent toddler-friendly alternative.

Party Ark – £5.49
