Party Wardrobe Update with Femme Luxe

For those of you who haven’t already heard me moan about this, my eldest daughter turned 18 a few months ago. On this most special birthday came cards, presents, cash and ID! Yes, she’s starting to hit the town at the weekends! This new-found hobby required some new pieces for her wardrobe. So for assistance, we turned once again to Femme Luxe for inspiration.

Parenting a Partying Adult!

So, lots of my friends have been asking me what it’s like to parent an adult. What’s more, parenting an adult who is out partying while I’m staying at home snuggled on the sofa in my PJs with a cup of coffee! I thought this post offers the perfect opportunity to talk briefly about this whole new change in our family dynamics!

The weird thing is, I’m only 35. I had my eldest daughter when I was 17 years old. It wasn’t all that long ago that I myself was out partying until the wee hours of the morning.

Fortunately, my daughter is a sensible girl. She always seems to make good decisions. She always texts me when she arrives at her destination, during the evening and then rings me when she’s heading for the taxi. I’ll set my alarm clock for the time she is due to come home just to make sure I don’t sleep through if there is a problem. I see less of her now but at least I know she’s out enjoying herself! And looking fabulous in her brand new Femme Luxe party wear!
