I have always been a fan of the Yankee Candle. I have jars of them all over my home. I have jars full of their tea lights and wax melts which I frequently light to fragrance my home. This week I came across a product in my local Home Bargains store; the Wickford & Co. candle.

This product looked familiar; last year my daughter bought me a lovely-smelling candle for my birthday – the scent was in fact Birthday Cake. I had this candle for months and months, it filled the home with a lovely fragrance and did not seem to burn as much as my Yankee Candles did. After comparing the two jars, I was pleased to see that they are in fact the same company. To my delight, the ‘Sweet Pea and Rose’ candle is just as fragrant as my birthday present. So impressed have I been with the smell and burn time of this candle, I have returned to the store to stock up on these candles.

The best part is the price – for a large (19oz) Yankee Candle I would think nothing of paying £15.00. The 18oz Wickford & Co. candles in my local Home Bargains are an unbelievable £2.99! With a burning time of upto 95 hours, I truly cannot believe the price of this fantastic product. I will certainly be filling my home with these sweet-smelling aromatic candles.

Wickford & Co. candles come in a variety of fragrances, my favourites so far have been: Sweet Pea and Rose, Tropical Paradise and Vanilla Cupcake Frosting. Check the Home Bargains website and your local store for availability.

Wickford & Co. are definitely my favourite candles of all time. At such a low price, they are surprisingly excellent value for money. And with so many beautiful colours, they make for excellent decorations in any room too!
