Our Sunday was made perfect thanks to the company we rent our home from! I wanted to share with you our experience of when Santa came to visit us!
Simple Life Homes
I absolutely love my new home. We moved in in August of this year and have had nothing but positive things to say about Simple Life Homes, the company we rent from. We rent a fabulous brand new build home from them with all the latest appliances at an affordable price. But it doesn’t end there. The company seem to really keen to promote a sense of community amongst its residents within this beautiful estate they have built. This community spirit has declined in recent decades. Indeed in my previous homes, I barely spoke to the neighbours and would have no idea who they were if I saw them in the Supermarket. Renting from Simple Life homes is infinitely different. Events are organised (and paid for) by them throughout the year. These events bring residents out of their homes and bring people together.
The Day Santa Came To Visit Us
Yesterday was a marvellous day. We had received an email some weeks ago informing us that Santa was going to visit us!
Aurelia’s elf had told her that something magical was going to happen on this particular day and she needed to keep watch at the window. She anxiously awaited. 
Finally, Aurelia spotted some movement outside and went to investigate.
Santa began his visit by walking along the streets and shouting ‘”Merry Christmas” – Aurelia was absolutely in awe!
Aurelia then patiently waited for her turn to sit in Santa’s sleigh. Luckily, we had 2 adorable reindeer to keep us company!
Aurelia couldn’t believe that she was sat in Santa’s sleigh! Santa was really kind and chatty and spent a good amount of time talking to all the children. Aurelia asked Santa for some more Lego and some more maths books!!!!
Santa gave Aurelia some chocolate coins (I think she will treasure them rather than eat them).
We feel so fortunate to be renting our beautiful home from such a wonderful company! Yesterday was a magical day for Aurelia. Santa came to her street! I’d like to thank Simple Life Homes for creating such a wonderful experience not only for Aurelia but for our family and all of our neighbours. It’s a wonderful thing to encourage the community spirit we all enjoy here. I’m sure Aurelia will never forget the day Santa came to visit us!

oh this made me so happy! your daughter looks like she had the best time, i’m sure it’s something she will never forget even as she gets older. even as a 24 year old i get so excited when santa comes down the street, something about the childhood magic of it all. xxx

It’s so nice that the company arrange this for the kids. That’s definitely not expected, what a lovely touch for the community. It sounds like Aurelia really enjoyed herself. Hope she enjoys her coins! x
