New Lounge Furniture Wishlist

New Lounge Furniture Wishlist

As you may have gathered from some of my previous posts, we’re moving into our new home soon! Our new place is a new build property and we want to kit out our pad with new items. The lounge is the focal point of the home for us – its where we spend the most time as a family, so getting the furniture right in this room is a necessity. We want both comfort and style but also cost effective items. I’ve put together a wishlist for our new lounge furniture to hopefully inspire you too!

Seating

The sofa is perhaps the most important item of furniture in our lounge. We want comfort, but also style. I am rather fond of this stunning Chesterfield.

Great Furniture Trading Company – £549.00

I’ve opted for neutral colours for my sofa so I can have the option of changing the look of my lounge with accessories rather cheaply without having to spend a too much on a new sofa. I love greys colours, like the one used on this beautiful fabric sofa.

Debenhams – £724.50

Whilst browsing for a new sofa, I found this amazing combination of x2 2 seater sofas. These provide enough seating space for the four of us and would look amazing in our new lounge.

The Sofa King – £699.99

This is my absolute favourite find! This stunning fabric armchair will bring colour into any lounge and would work well with a neutral coloured sofa. Chairs Warehouse are also offering a free cushion (worth £9.99) with the purchase of any chair!

Chairs Warehouse – £89.99

Tables

I absolutely love Scandinavian inspired furniture design. These side tables from Zurleys are guaranteed to bring a hint of that Scandinavian feel into the lounge.

Zurleys – £61.00

Staying with the Scandinavian theme, and Zurleys, this quirky coffee table would work well with the other items I have chosen. It will make a great statement piece in my new lounge.

Zurleys – £155.00

TV Unit

Until recently, I had always passed over the TV Unit simply as a necessary piece of lounge furniture, offering little style only functionality. Now I totally disagree with this theory. The TV is quite often the centre piece of the lounge; it dictates the layout of the room. I’m now looking for a TV Unit that offers style and functionality.

I have fallen in love with this TV bench – I adore these cream colours combined with wood and this unit is sure to make a bold statement in my new lounge.

John Lewis – £299.00

Rug

I’m not a particular fan of rugs in the lounge. More often than not I use them to furnish my bedroom. However I was browsing the Housing Units website and came across this cornucopia of colours and now I must have this stunning rug as a feature in my lounge. Regardless of the weather, my lounge will always feel bright and happy.

Housing Units – £39.00

Lighting

Shopping in B&M this week, I found the most eye-catching lamp. It’s like something out of a fairy tale, my girls will love it!

B and M – £14.99

I know the struggles of moving house. But you seem to be on top of it. Unlike my family! The sofas you’ve selected looks wonderful and I’m sure they’re going to look amazing when it’s done. Also I love the lamp!

The struggles are so real – I love lamps so they’ll undoubtedly be a prominent feature in the new house (to the annoyance of my husband) 😉

I love the chesterfield and that chair. I’ll have to have a look at that as we live in a small cottage but it would look so nice. It’s fab you’ve got a completely blank canvas to play with – it must be so much fun picking out all the different bits. Xx

Thank you Nina it certainly has been fun playing with a blank canvas 🙂
