Popping into my local Primark store at the weekend, I thought I’d grab myself some Summer essentials bargains. Now, Primark are of course known for their low prices, but it’s even better when these essential items are in the sale!
Being a size 9, I always struggle to find shoes that actually fit me, let alone cute sandals. One of the reasons why I love Primark is their selection of women’s shoes in my size. I always buy my summer sandals from Primark, I grabbed these at the bargain price of £6.00!
I have a grand total of 10 piercings in my ears which means I go through quite a lot of earrings. I’m always taking them out and leaving them in the strangest of places, only to loose them on a weekly basis. These Primark packs of earrings at £1.50 are perfect for me – with 18 studs to go at, they’re sure to last me a while!
I’m going to be honest, when I bought these body sprays for £1.50 each, I wasn’t expecting too much. However, when I got home and tested them out, I was pleasantly surprised. They all smell gorgeous and the scent remains on my skin throughout the day. I will certainly be buying these again, especially if I find them at this bargain price once again!
Being born in 1984 and not in the year 2000, I have very limited knowledge of contouring. Though I have been informed this is called a contour palette. And I have also been led to believe by my teenage daughter that I can in fact be taught how to use this new fangled piece of make-up kit. Where better to start than with a Primark kit. At only £1.00, I can use this to practice my soon to be newly acquired contouring skills!
These nail varnishes were chosen by my 4 year old, Aurelia. She brought them home and then promptly painted her finger nails and her hands, quickly followed by her toe nails and then her feet! The paint she did manage to get onto her nails did look rather nice! At 60p per bottle, she can paint her nails as much as she likes!
Although I do wish I could get away with wearing glitter on my lashes, I just don’t think I could pull this look off! I bought this lash glitter for my teenage daughter, Kerri. Her prom is only weeks away and I’m always picking up items I think will match her quirky personality. She loves this product, and I did too at only £1.00.
Finally, the essential of all summer essentials – sunglasses. These sunglasses were a bargain at only £1.00! What’s more, they came with a cute little pouch to store them in (extremely handy, I must have thrown away 3 pairs of sunglasses already this year that were scratched all over the lenses).
The great thing about Primark is you can spend just a little bit of money but leave the store knowing you have just refreshed you essentials kits. Let me know in the comments below if you have found any of your own Primark bargains for the Summer!2
